WHO IS BASTION DEVELOPMENT?
Bastion Development was founded in 2012.
It started out with the building of high-end luxury homes in security estates and game lodges as well as industrial buildings.
Bastion has since steered our focus towards high-end residential developments. We have successfully completed numerous developments and gained hundreds of new customers in the form of satisfied homeowners.
What is our focus for the next 5 years?
Our focus for the journey ahead of us is to ensure the highest client satisfaction possible by consistently delivering the best quality product through hands-on services. We aim to grow at a steady pace to ensure quality is always maintained as well as the personal touch. Both elements are what sets us apart from the competition. We will continue to keep our finger on the “latest trend” pulse to ensure we deliver the most modern designs whilst also being practical. We will keep an even closer look at the continuous rise in costs to ensure we are able to continue deliver value for money to our clients.

Tom Gouws
Tom is the key ingredient in transforming ideas into a living legacy. He is the backbone of Bastion and brings all the fundamental elements together gracefully. He has exceptional people skills and the ability to lead, influence and most of all, to get things done right the first time.
Tom’s incredible sense for business, diplomacy and principled, but gracious approach to people, are what makes him one of Bastion’s most valuable assets. He can cut through the thick of things and get straight to the core.
Tom is also a father, hunter and avid sport shooter who understands that life isn’t just about business – it’s also about enjoying every moment with friends and family.
